WMV files to be used with FluxWMV can be hosted on regular HTTP web servers and do not require expensive streaming servers although allowing for the full feature set by use of the included intelligent Download Manager.

The unique FluxWMV Download Manager automatically measures the connection speed and adapts the download threads to reach the maximum possible download speed so that the watching can start only seconds after the download is triggered.

The FluxDVD Download Manager is fully customizable and can be branded in different designs or not be visible at all when being controlled by a web site.

 
The burning to DVD or exporting to device is possible in parallel to watching the movie. The Download Manager is part of the FluxWMV Redistributable.
